Research

The expertise of morEnergy GmbH has evolved from many years of research work of the three founders at Helmut Schmidt University. Below is an excerpt of the projects the three founders worked on during their time as research assistants at the Chair of Electrical Power Systems under Professor Dr.-Ing. Detlef Schulz.

Joint project Net Harmony (2015 – 2018)

Strategy of grid integration of decentralised plants in Hamburg (2010 – 2011)

Development of a measuring device for determining the frequency-dependent network impedance on the high-voltage level up to 110 kV to evaluate the availability of network capacities as a system parameter for dimensioning energy storage facilities.

11 kV mains impedance measuring device (2013 – 2017)

Development of a measuring device to determine the time and frequency dependent network impedance on the medium voltage level up to 20 kV.

Medium voltage – mains impedance measuring device

Development of future grid scenarios with a high share of renewable energy Strategy proposals for grid expansion and grid optimisation for grid integration of renewable energy plants Modelling and grid simulation

EEG-Monitoring (05/2013 – 09/2013)

Preparation and monitoring of the preparation of the Progress Report 2014 according to § 65 EEG
