Smart Grid week in Hanoi, Vietnam

The energy revolution is Germany’s export hit and is already in full swing in Vietnam. Within the year 2019, the share of PV capacity has risen to just under 10 % of installed capacity. The energy revolution offers opportunities, but also new challenges. For example, progress in renewable energies and the simultaneous expansion of the electricity grid must go hand in hand. Innovative sensor technology coupled with information and communication technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence will make the grid “smart”. Benefiting and learning from each other is the motto of the Smart Grid Week in Hanoi, Vietnam, under the patronage of the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam (ERAV), which already took place in December 2019. A successful event and maximum motivation for the implementation of the global energy revolution!
